Helping Families Build a Relationship with Their Baby

Over on our Baby Guru page for parents, we recently published a piece about how parents can build a relationship with their baby. This topic is near and dear to us, as we care about families gaining skills across the time that we support them, and, let’s be honest, all relationships take time, care, and a little bit of trial and error (and repair, of course). This includes the relationship between parents and baby, even from the very start.

As a postpartum professional, you are in the position to observe families and help them identify their strengths, listen to their challenges and offer ideas and resources, and model ways they can care for themselves and their baby.

Find our list of 6 ways you can help families build a relationship with their baby here! Adapt this list to fit your style and pass along the love to the families you serve.
