BIPOC Scholarship with ABG Postpartum Doula Training

At ABG we recognize the need for more Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) birth workers, specifically Postpartum Doulas.

We want to do our part by offering a scholarship opportunity for two BIPOC who would like to train with ABG as Postpartum Doulas, and build a career supporting growing families.

Our training is available both online and in-person, so please share widely - our students and applicants come from all around the world!

About ABG's Postpartum Doula Certification and Training Scholarships

Every year, we open submissions for our ABG Postpartum Doula Training Scholarship Program.

Applications will be open from March 25th until April 8th, 2024.

The ABG Postpartum Doula Certification is valid worldwide, self-paced, and comes with a supportive professional doula community to help you on your pathway to becoming a doula.

How are the Scholarships chosen?

A small committee of BIPOC Postpartum Doulas who are also ABG Certified graduates independently review all scholarship applications and select two recipients.

The committee will have between April 9th - 14th to read over all applications, and select two winners.

Our 2024 ABG BIPOC Scholarship recipients will be announced during Black Maternal Health week (April 11-17th).
